QxControl & Passkeys for Enhanced Security

QxControl has long offered Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for login security. With the release of the June 2024 QxControl update, we have also added Passkeys support, greatly enhancing security while streamlining the authentication experience. Here’s why this is great news for QxControl users:

  • Stronger Security: Passkeys offer a higher level of security compared to traditional passwords. They are resistant to phishing attacks, making it much harder for malicious actors to gain unauthorized access to your account.
  • Convenience and Ease of Use: With passkeys, you no longer need to remember complex passwords. The authentication process is simplified, allowing you to log in quickly and effortlessly.
  • Multi-Device Support: Passkeys are designed to work seamlessly across all your devices. Whether you're on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, you can enjoy a consistent and secure login experience.
  • Reduced Risk of Data Breaches: Since passkeys do not require storing passwords on servers, the risk of data breaches is significantly minimized. Your personal information remains safe and secure.
  • Enhanced User Experience: The use of passkeys can lead to a smoother and more user-friendly experience, reducing the time and effort needed to manage and remember multiple passwords.
  • Future-Proof Security: Passkeys are a part of the latest advancements in security technology. By implementing them now, we are preparing for future threats and ensuring our system remains secure as technology evolves.
  • Cutting-Edge Technology: By adopting passkeys, we are setting a new standard in the VSaaS industry, providing you with the most advanced security measures available.

Passkeys can be setup in the Settings menu by navigating to Authentication, and is located adjacent to the 2FA setup.
